Some Qur’anic verses such as Surah Al-Ghāfir/11 and Surah Al-Baqarah/154 deal with this issue. Also, the Infallible Imams (AS) mentioned this important matter in their sayings. However, some Islamic sects have cast doubt on it; The Qur’anists of the Indian Continent are among those who denied the existence of the Purgatory. They proved their idea of the non-existence of Purgatory through rational arguments of “1. uncertainty of the nature of the human soul, 2. the lack of torment’s signs on the body laid in the grave” and narrative evidences of the verses “Surah Al-Ghāfir/11 and 46 and Surah Al-Baqarah/154" with an unusual exegetical method, including self-idea, interpretation (<em>ta’wīl</em>), and scientism. This paper intends to evaluate the views of the subcontinental Qur’anists based on a descriptive-critical method, as much as possible. اعتقاد به وجود عالم برزخ یکی از اصول پذیرفته شدۀ بیشتر مسلمانان است. برخی از آیات قرآن مانند؛ آیۀ 11 سورۀ غافر و آیۀ 154 سورۀ بقره به آن پرداخته­ اند، همچنین ائمۀ­هدی (ع) نیر در احادیث خویش به این امر مهم اشاره کرده­ اند، با این وجود، برخی از فرق مسلمانان در این امر شبهه ایجاد کرده ­اند. قرآن­ بسندگان شبه قاره، یکی از فرقی است که جود برزخ را انکار کرده است. قرآنیان شبه قاره با ادلۀ عقلی «1. نامشخص بودن ماهیت نفس انسان؛ 2. عدم آثار عذاب در جسد در داخل قبور» و نقلی «آیات؛ 11 و 46 سورۀ غافر و آیۀ 154 سورۀ بقره»، با روش تفسیری نامتداول از جمله؛ رأی­ گرایی، تأویل و علم­گرایی، به اثبات عدم وجود برزخ پرداخته ­اند. از این­رو، تحقیق پیش­ رو بر آن شده، آراء قرآنیان شبه قاره را با روش توصیفی- انتقادی، حتی ­الامکان مورد ارزیابی قرار دهد. https://jqst.ut.ac.ir/article_86351_98980221cd28cc3ee5e327c6c2e20e48.pdf
